CBS just revealed the new cast for Big Brother 23. Get to know contestant Brent Champagne, a 28-year-old flight attendant from Cranston, Rhode Island.
The premiere of Big Brother 23 is less than a week away. As fans anxiously await the live move-in, they were given a sneak peek into the new season. On Thursday, July 1, CBS released the full cast list, unveiling the 16 brand-new houseguests that will soon become roommates. While these individuals come from all over the country and come from different backgrounds, they all have one thing in common: they are going to soon be competing their hearts out for a chance of winning the half a million dollar grand prize.
Amongst the 16 brand new houseguests is Brent Champagne. Brent is a 28-year-old flight attendant. He currently resides in Cranston, Rhode Island, which is where he was born and raised. Being a flight attendant, Brent has traveled all over the world. When he’s not working or traveling, Brent enjoys working out, investing in stocks, and fishing. In college, Brent was a D1AA athlete. However, his career quickly came to an end after an unfortunate injury.

If Brent Champagne had to describe himself in three words, it would be “adventurous, passionate, and confident,” according to his bio from CBS. As Brent awaits this new journey while in sequester, he is preparing to fully lose all personal privacy. Because he enjoys his time alone, this lack of privacy will be a major adjustment for him. However, he is willing to give up his personal peace and quiet for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Describing himself as a “social butterfly,” Brent is extremely excited to meet his 16 housemates in just a few short days. He even admitted, “Being the single young man that I am, I’d be lying if I said the women didn’t add to my excitement.” Could a potential showmance be in his near future?
Reflecting on past Big Brother seasons, Brent explained that he does not have a favorite moment from a past season. Instead, he has a guilty pleasure while watching the show. Brent actually enjoys watching the reactions of players when they get back-doored. However, he clarified that he only enjoys this when the person actually deserved it. He said, “The reaction is just so genuine regardless of being on camera.” As for his favorite duo, Tyler Crispen and Angela Rummans take the win for Brent. He admires how they kept their relationship flourishing outside of the house, calling them “showmance goals.” Perhaps a dominating showmance like Tyler and Angela is what Brent is looking for this summer.
As for his game strategy, Brent feels that his main advantage in the competition will be his social game. With that said, his athletic background will also come in handy. He has supposedly been told that his “charm is POWERFUL,” so needless to say he will be using that to his full advantage this summer.
Big Brother 23 premieres Wednesday, July 7 at 8pm EST on CBS.
